WAVA welcomed three new members this year
Thunders Bakery, TRC Epos and Una's Hairdressers all joined the association.
The Village looks great now that the WAVA flower baskets are hanging.
Thanks to Eva at Dundrum Blooms for all her hard work and to Anne Gorman Architects for finding the baskets at Seaview Nurseries in Bray
Thanks to mick Mulligan,Mary White and all the team at DLR Co Council who helped WAVA to get our 2012 Two Greens Project started this week. We now have two Granite namestones marking two entrances to Windy Arbour Village. One is on the Green along Dundrum Road at Mulvey Park, just before teh Central Mental Hospital. The other is along the Slann River pathway that leads from Farranboley along the Slann into the Village. We are now looking for a stonemason to engrave Windy Arbour Village on them. So let us know if you know anyone who is qualified and available to do that job please.
How do you like the new look WAVA website?
We are working hard to make the village look nice this year, thanks to a business promotion grant from DLR County Council, and to support from Mary White and the DLR Estates Management team. We are also looking at setting up an envirnmental group to plan how to improve Mulvey Park. Join us and help to make a difference in Windy Arbour. ![]()
